Veteran's Thank You
The many freedoms this nation enjoys have been purchased at great cost. Yes, we celebrated Veteran's Day on November 11, but they should be celebrated every day. Do we really stop to consider the great sacrifices that have been and are being made everyday by those who proudly serve this nation. It was brought to my attention that we should not only thank those who are serving and have served, but also their spouses and children. Much has been given up by the men and women who are so willingly giving their all.
I say “Thank You” to those who are serving and to those who have served. You said, “Yes” to this nation and to preserving it's freedoms. It breaks my heart that there's such an unpatriotic attitude growing in this nation by politicians and private citizens alike. It is true that none of us like the sound of war, but it is a very necessary evil in overcoming a greater evil, but these individual have committed themselves to unknown danger for the sake of us all.
So I say “Thank You Veteran's.” You fight to protect and preserve. You fight so that others can also know the freedoms we enjoy. You stand guard against enemies that care not for life or liberty. You stand guard so that we can remain a free democracy. You said yes, surrendering your will for the good of this nation and those who don't have the ability to fight themselves. We are the greatest nation because we have the greatest military force filled with the greatest soldiers made up great Americans. Thank You.
