"No one knows when that day or hour will come. Even the angels in heaven and the Son don't know. Only the Father knows. Be careful! Watch! You don't know the exact time.” Mark 13: 32-33
You acknowledge God with your mouth, but do you acknowledge Him with your life? Many who attend church faithfully say they believe in God, many who never attend church say the same. But I say to you, confessing there’s a God isn’t the same as confessing your sin and living for Him. We are living in the last days and for some time has ran out. When death comes there’s no second chance, but as long as you draw breath you have a choice. Today you may breathe your last and whether you’ve acknowledged Jesus as Lord or not you’ll face an eternity either basking in His presence or separated from it. Which will you have?
The speaker at the Bible camp I attended said, “Jesus isn’t coming soon, He’s coming!” Everything we’re witnessing in world and national news points to His coming NOW! We had better be living as if today is the last. If you haven’t accepted Him, do it. If you have accepted Him, act like it. You brush by people every day that may never say anything, but desperately need to know Jesus. Jesus didn’t die for something to do, but so that all may come to know Him and live with Him for eternity. God’s no respecter of persons, He’ll save all who call upon Him. Satan’s no respecter of persons either; he wants you turn your back on God and suffer in hell with him. He keeps you chasing selfishly after things to fill your time and pleasure which keeps you from seeking after the Lord.
Jesus came to give life and that more abundantly. Satan comes, lying and deceiving, stealing from you your life.
