I’ve lived in the Randle area for the past 20 years, moving here from Kent in 1999 to get out of the city life and never looked back. I have three children, my oldest daughter lives in Seattle and the younger daughter and son live in Randle. I’m blessed with three beautiful grandkids. |

Backups Again
I know that I wrote about backups a few weeks ago and how to set them up. This week I want to remind you again of the importance of doing regular backups on your computer as I had one come in this week that had failed.
Hard drives fail and sometimes it’s possible to retrieve some data from them. Unfortunately, that is not always the case. Most of us have important things on our computers that we don’t want to lose. Precious family photos, financial information, or files that we need for work or school.
Setting up a backup to protect your files doesn’t take long. If your drive does fail and you have a backup, you can restore your files onto a new hard drive and be back up and running in a reasonable amount of time.
If you use your computer for work and school and have important files that you generate daily, you should be backing up often. You can set up an automatic backup to copy the files in your Documents, Pictures, and other folders to back up daily or hourly if you prefer.
If you need help setting up a backup, give me a call.
Have a good week,
Kathie Pearce
