I’ve lived in the Randle area for the past 20 years, moving here from Kent in 1999 to get out of the city life and never looked back. I have three children, my oldest daughter lives in Seattle and the younger daughter and son live in Randle. I’m blessed with three beautiful grandkids. |

Internet Survey
Reliable internet connectivity is extremely important, now more than ever. We have been thrust into this new way of attending meetings and school the last several months, and as you know getting a fast or even reliable internet connection can be challenging in our rural communities.
I have had several calls from clients who are having problems connecting or staying connected to the internet lately. I have had issues myself. This problem is not confined to one internet provider. The systems are being inundated with homeschoolers, telecommuters and people trying to stay entertained while staying at home.
The Lewis County PUD is currently conducting an internet usage survey to gather interest in a more widespread network to provide high speed internet to our county including rural areas. Even as our state begins to open back up, our need for reliable internet will remain with us into the future. I encourage all of you to participate in this survey. You can find it on the PUD’s web site at www.lcpud.org . The survey will be available until mid-June.
Until next week,
