God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM", and He said "Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.'" Exodus 3:14
God is awesome, He's the great
I AM. When He calls Himself this, that's just what
it means; you don't have to be because I AM.
I am weak, I fail, I fear, I'm imperfect, BUT I have a friend
who's strong, fearless, and perfect and never fails. My friend
is I AM.
When God calls Himself I AM, it's big! It is fact.
He didn't say, "I could be, I might be, I will be, I was,
but I AM." I AM the provider,
I AM salvation, I AM the creator,
I AM faithful, I AM hope, I
AM peace, I AM life, I AM
living water, I AM waiting, I AM patient,
I AM forgiving, I AM the conqueror,
I AM the way, I AM the truth, I
AM the light, I AM with you, I AM
yours.
What I AM means could fill volumes. These two simple
words are the most complicated ever spoken. The journey it has
taken me on is an incredible one. It started with my friend saying
to me, "I just had a thought and it's deep! As big as
I AM is; you are in it." What peace I have, God
is I AM and I am His.
He's not surprised by what I'm facing. He knew this day was coming
and has already provided for everything I'll have need of.
I'm in the hand of I AM and He knows who I am.
How great is our God!
O my strength, I will
sing praised to You: for God is my stronghold, the God who shows
me lovingkindness. Psalm 59:17
