What kind of song does our
life sing, misery, anger, bitterness or some other dirge? Or
does it sing of victory, protection, love and any other promise
from God?
Jesus has promised us His never-ending presence and leading in
our lives. We should be singing a song of newness, of deliverance
and of power. When we moan and groan, what does that say to a
world looking for hope?
If I had a guaranteed way to make lots of money, how would I get
people to believe in my plan so they would invest? I would complain,
point out all possible troubles and whine while making my sales
pitch. Yah, right! I would speak excitedly and positively,
praising the excellent prospect of profit. Are you getting the
picture yet?
We have access to the greatest gift ever, a gift that has nothing
but profit for us. So why spend anymore time whining? It's
time to sing a new song! God has given us each incredible
abilities and talents, so let's begin to sing so loudly that a
hopeless world sees that there is a reason to not only invest
in God's hope, but to let God invest in them.
I don't know about you, but I enjoy being around someone who is
spontaneous and enjoys life to it's fullest no matter what. Their
lives make so much positive noise I want to participate. So let's
begin to make our lives a joyful noise for God and others will
want to join in.
Shout joyfully to God,
all the earth; sing the glory of His name; make His praise glorious.
