This week: How to open more than one browser window

Is there a way to go into eBay while I have my e-mail section open?/ I know this sounds dumb, but I always have to click off of my e-mail to go into ebay. I can go into e-mail if I am on ebay, but not the other way around. :)

You should be able to keep both e-mail and I.E. open on your machine at most times. You can then press Alt+Tab to switch back and forth. There is no way to start I.E. from Outlook; just leave them both open.

My problem was whenever I am typing in my description in eBay, and I need to go to isp home page to get a picture# out of album where pictures are stored, I lose everything I have written in ebay because once I click on home page, it cuts me off of ebay. I thought there must be a way to go back and forth...

Oh, I see what you need! Yes, you can have ebay and your home page open at the same time. If you go to the menu bar and click on "file," then click on "new," and "window," that will open another Explorer window. Then, you can then press ALT and TAB to move from window to window. You can also just open two copies of your browser rather than using the File-new-window method. 'Til next week, (ComputerFAQ#182)
